Alborg, Denmark

Today we visited Alborg, a small, charming town of Denmark. We took a guided walking tour in the morning, enjoying all the beauty of the town. Alborg is a town of about 120,000 with a third of the population being students in local universities. The town is delightful and everyone seemed to have a smile on their face.

After a quick lunch back on board, we went on a somewhat unusual afternoon excursion.  We took a guided walking tour of some of the local pubs. We each were given our own glass to carry along with 6 drink coupons to use along the way. We were able to enjoy some of the local brews. Fortunately, the glasses were only 6 ounces so we made it safely back to the ship. Tomorrow we stop in Copenhagen.

    1. You would have been proud of me - blond beers - wheat beers & IPA’s. Totally fun to drink beer with the locals - in old beautiful pubs!
